Governor Hope Uzodimma has emerged the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF) after the forum’s election in Abuja today.
The PGF is a group of Governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC), who work together to develop policies and share experiences.
A statement from the Hope Media Centre said that Uzodimma’s new role will be crucial in promoting unity among APC Governors. It added that his leadership skills and ability to garner support from his fellow Governors played a big part in his appointment.
As the new Chairman of the PGF, Governor Uzodimma will play an important role in guiding the group’s activities and pushing the APC’s agenda across the States. He will also be involved in discussions and decisions that will directly impact the party’s direction and the country’s development.
The statement also said that Governor Uzodimma’s leadership will be essential in promoting effective governance, encouraging collaboration among states, and implementing APC’s progressive agenda.
