Students in Ogun state have embarked on a joint protest against the strike action of the academic staff union of universities have on Monday, to blocked the Sagamu-Benin-Ore highway.
The schools involved are Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye; Tai Solarin University of Education, and the Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Commenting on their action, the TASUED Students’ Union President, Sharon Great, said, the essence of the protest is for the Federal Government and State Government to meet their demand in making sure that the Universities are properly funded.
ASUU started its strike on February 14, 2022, making it 91 days today.
