The Abuja Chapter of the Cross Riverians 4 Bassey Otu (CRBO), under the leadership of National Coordinator Obonganwan Gnarly Eyo and Chapter Coordinator Mrs. Joyce Effanga-Fadeyi recently conducted a courtesy visit to Arc. Olugbenga Olomofe, a world-renowned Architect and Principal Partner/ CEO of Daabforms Architects. During this visit, Arc. Olugbenga Olomofe was appointed as a non-indigenous patron of the organization.

CRBO emphasized the critical role of promoting good governance, encapsulating the principles of “Otuism”—a new era leadership framework pioneered by His Excellency Governor Bassey Otu. This governance model genuinely places power in the hands of the populace and ensures that development reaches every corner, with a particular focus on reaching marginalized communities and the grassroots level. The core objective is to eliminate the socio-economic divide between the elite and the underprivileged, enabling collaborative efforts across all societal tiers to foster state development.

In his response, Olugbenga reaffirmed his commitment to Cross River State, urging the group to disseminate their messages effectively at the grassroots level. He acknowledged the organization’s efforts in bridging knowledge gaps, enabling individuals previously unaware of governance issues to become informed stakeholders. He prayed for sustained energy in these endeavors and reflected on his past service within Cross River State, further highlighting his deep connection to the state.
