Rev’d Jacob Adesoga and Mrs Grace Folorunso Badejo Music Foundation holds eighth concert

  • Come 19th April, this year, the eighth edition of The Rev’d Jacob Adesoga & Mrs. Grace Folorunsho Badejo Music Foundation would hold at the Idode Methodist Church in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

The event which promises to blend faith, music and cultural heritage also plans to unveil a five-CD album featuring the works of Emeritus Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu.

The album, titled ‘Ministrations in Songs and Poetry (Ewi),’ is a compilation of Ladigbolu’s timeless gospel renditions, blending rich Yoruba poetry with powerful Christian messages.

Ladigbolu, a revered cleric known for his profound leadership and creative ministry, has long been a pillar of the Christian faith. Through his unique fusion of music and spoken word, he has touched countless lives, making his works an enduring legacy for generations to come. The unveiling of this album is seen as a celebration of his contributions to gospel music and spiritual enlightenment.

The event which will also be streamed live on Facebook and via Zoom Meeting ID 881 0393 8053 and Passcode jPuge0, will feature vibrant performances by choirs from across the diocese. Each choir will showcase their talents, celebrating the theme inspired by Psalm 95:1: “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our Salvation.”
