Can someone please tell Governor Dapo Abiodun and his staff that the Ogun State Government website has been down for weeks? 👉 http://www.ogunstate.gov.ng
I checked 3 weeks ago — down.
I checked 2 weeks ago — still down.
I checked last week — still not working.
I just checked again today in SEP 2, 2025 — it’s still down. All you still get now is still RUBBISH PLACEHOLDER TEXT AFTER WEEKS!
This is not just annoying, it’s embarrassing. How can citizens be unable to access basic government information online for weeks in this digital age?
If we call him out live, they’ll claim we’re “sponsored by opponents.” But facts are facts: most Nigerians interact with government online today — for information, filing documents, retrieving documents. (Look at Fed Gov CAC: you can now do company searches and full incorporation entirely online). Yet in Ogun State, we still have to travel to Abeokuta for the most mundane tasks because the official site is dead or continues to rise and die like a Lazarus on repeat dial
*Yes, I know websites can go down anywhere, even in the U.S. But for it to remain offline for weeks is not just incompetence — it’s a mark of indifference and cluelessness by an elected government.*
Excellency Prince Dapo Sir, is it too much to ask you to FIX OUR GOVERNMENT WEBSITE IN OGUN STATE!?
Maybe if you and your aides spent less time running around the world with Mr. President doing his own job, or sending clueless media aides like Seyi Bakare to write infantile articles against those holding you accountable, or too busy activating your SG to look for more illegal ways to demolish your opponents’ houses — and actually calmed down to pay attention to what is happening day-to-day in your own state — you would notice that Ogun State is almost grinding to a halt administratively.
Sir, if you were truly doing your job well and holding yourself more accountable, you would leave less room for people to call you out repeatedly.
