Video: Tobi Amusan gives Nigeria first-ever Gold in World Athletics Championship

Nigeria made history on Sunday as Tobi Amusan became its first athlete to win a gold medal in World Athletics Championship with an astounding victory in the women’s 100m hurdles in Oregon.

Amusan set a new world record in the event as she clocked 22.06 seconds against the former record of 12.12 seconds at the Hayward Field.

Jamaica’s Britany Anderson took silver in 12.23sec, while Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico claimed bronze in 12.23.
