Former Special Adviser to the President of National Assembly Matters during the Obasanjo regime, Senator (Princess) Florence Ita-Giwa a. k.a Mama Bakassi went on her knees begging angry Cross River State youths as they embarked on large scale and wanton destruction of government and the state’s political leaders properties all over the state.
Speaking in the traditional Efik, she begged profusely that the youths should forgive the elders and political leaders who had for long done them wrong.
An earlier interpretation of her message claimed she only had knelt down for the protesters to avoid torching her country home but FirstNigeriaTV got to speak with one of her aides who confirmed that she begged the youths on behalf of all elders and political leaders of Cross River State.
