Nigerians in the diaspora had wondered if the promise that the U.S President Donald Trump made here in the wake of nationwide civil disturbances in the country was what the present incumbent government in Nigeria was aiming to actualise when on the day curfew was imposed in Lagos State, some military tanks conveying armed soldiers stormed the venue of the peaceful #EndSars protest a few hours before deadline given for the commencement of the curfew.
