Speaking on African Independent Television programme, a northern woman and Director of the Civil Society Directorate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Hajia Naja’atu Mohammed, that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has nothing to offer the north if he emerges as the next president of Nigeria.
Reacting to her comment, a Chieftain of the APC from the north wondered why the woman chose to heap blames on Tinubu for the kidnapping, banditry and terrorism currently bedeviling the region. He noted that for almost 8 years now it’s a northerner that is piloting the country as the President and the Commander-in-Chief. “Then, why blaming Tinubu for the current insecurity in the north,” he querried.
The APC Chieftain stated further that the woman clearly proven to the whole world that she is not only perochial but also sectional.
“Rather than asking for what Tinubu is ready to offer the nation as a whole, she only concerns herself with what the north will benefit. This is too bad.” He concluded.
