Verdant zeal boss, Olugbodi lecture in O.O.U set to bridge gap between industry and academia


Verdant Zeal’s Executive vice chairman, Tunji Olugbodi is to deliver a Faculty open lecture in the social sciences in Olabisi Onabajo University on 16th of November.

The Lecture, organised by the Social science faculty under its dean, Prof. Dele Odunlami, sets to equip students and academic staff alike with valuable insights towards effectively bridging the existential gap in the industry and academia. It is tagged ‘Collaborative innovation : Building knowledge and Research Gap Between the Industry and Academia’

“The Faculty Open lecture is a platform for the generation of ideas towards societal transformation and sustainable development by extending the frontiers of knowledge beyond the four walls of the ivory tower” said Odunlami in an interview with FirtstNigeriaTV

According to the Professor, more of such town and gown interactions are expected in the faculty going forward, particularly by accomplished products of the University.

Set for 10 am at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel hall (OGD) in OOU, Ago-iwoye, the lecture is hosted by the person of the vice chancellor Professor Ayodeji Johnson Agboola, and invites both students and staff of the academia for an engaging session
