
According to a statement by the Chief press secretary to the governor, Mr Segun Ajiboye and made available to the press, the ban however remains on logging activities in the state’s forest reserves.
Governor Akeredolu maintained that the ban on logging activities in the forest reserve areas was meant to ensure that the general commonwealth of the people of the state are not pillaged by a few criminally-minded people.
While promising to ensure overall well-being, promotion and development of the state’s citizenry, he called on the people to continue to support the government in its onerous task of leading the state on the right path of development.
