A resident doctor, identified as Dr. Wisdom Iboyitete, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen at the Central Hospital Ojobo, Burutu Local Government Area Of Delta State on Sunday night at about 11pm.
The Delta State police public relations officer – Onome Onovwakpoyeya when confirming the incident said the gunmen disguised as patients seeking medical attention.
The doctor was eventually whisked away to an unknown destination through a nearby community river.
As of the time of filing this report, the kidnappers were yet contact the doctor’s family or residents of the community.
