Gospel singer and media entrepreneur Yinka Ayefele has finally addressed the long-standing rumor that he is not the biological father of his triplets.
In a recent appearance on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ show hosted by skitmaker Bae U Barbie, Ayefele categorically stated that he impregnated his wife, Temitope, and she gave birth to their three children.
When the host asked humourously, “How did you do it?” Ayefele responded, “How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets. You thought I bought them? I don’t understand what you mean.”
Ayefele acknowledged that his spinal cord injury, which he sustained in a car accident on December 12, 1997, might have raised questions about his ability to father children. However, he emphasized that his case was rare, saying, “Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it’s a fact, it’s one out of a hundred.”
The singer, who has been married to Temitope for over two decades, expressed his gratitude for his family, saying, “I’m blessed with four male children, and I’m grateful to God for that.”
By setting the record straight, Ayefele has put to rest the rumors and speculation surrounding the paternity of his children.
