Ex-CBN Deputy Governor, Mailafia laid to rest in Abuja
The body of human rights activist and former CBN deputy governor, Obadiah Mailafia, was laid to rest at the Mambilla Barracks in Abuja on Friday.
Stephen Baba, ECWA president, in a sermon during the funeral service implored all Christians to be prayerful and ready as no one knows when death will come.
He also described Mr Mailafia as a great loss to the Christian body and the nation at large.
Mailafia was born on 24 December, 1956 in Randa, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and survived by a wife, Margaret Mailafia and two children, Emmanuel and Samora.
