ekiti election: candidates sign social contract agreement with stakeholders

Candidates of some political parties contesting the June 18 governorship election in Ekiti State have signed a social Contract Agreement at a manifesto night organised by the Justice Development and Peace Initiative (JDPI), in partnership with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the Ekiti Council of Elders in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.

The candidates in their various manifesto’s promise to fulfill all they have said and even more. They signed the Agreement with the representatives of the people of the state in attendance which includes the traditional rulers, religious leaders,,security agencies, drivers unions, market men and women, People Living With Disabilities, among others.

The candidates that attended and signed pact were; Mr Biodun Oyebanji, (APC); Chief Segun Oni, (SDP); Dr Wole Oluyede, (ADC); Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle, (ADP); Debo Ajayi, (YPP); and Mr Ben Agboola, (PRP).
