The Child Online Safety NG has advanced plans to host the second edition of parents’ invitation to a one day session on cybersecurity affairs, tagged ‘Lets Meet the Parents’ in Lagos.
According to the convener, Olamide Odeneye,
speakers already lined up for the event include Oluwakayode Olatunji from Digital Encode, Ali Afegbua, Doyin Ijiwola, Team Lead and Integrated Orange Limited.
Thankful for how technology has helped the world become a global village, contributions will also be coming in from Simbat Ozioma Sadiq and a representative from TheClueNg both based in Abuja.
She also confirmed that the event would be at no cost for attendees but registration would be required.
Odeneye urged parents to come and learn various relevant ways of making the home a safe haven via cyber safety.
“Come learn and share with other parents, educators and professionals necessary skills for parenting in the digital age,” she added.
The venue of the event is Printivo.com office,182 ikorodu Road, Moyosore House, Onipanu, Lagos and the programme will start by 9am.
She revealed there would be special presentation by 9ijakids(an Edutech company that leverages the power of technology/gaming to impact knowledge) at the event.
Furthermore, she confirmed that Child Online Safety NG is partnering the likes of ITREALMS Online, Printivo.Com, 9ijaKids, Kaspersky among others.
