President Bola Tinubu marked the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations with prayers alongside fellow Muslims in Lagos on Wednesday, where he urged Nigerians to keep faith, patriotism, and hope for a prosperous Nigeria.

Addressing the press after prayers at the Eid Ground in Dodan Barracks, Obalende, President Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to foster prosperity nationwide. He urged Nigerians to uphold the values of sacrifice and resilience beyond Ramadan.

“The resilience and sacrifice that we have shown and made during these months should be preserved. Be a kind and cheerful giver. We must love our country more than any other country, because that is the only one we have” he said

Sheikh Sulaiman Oluwatoyin Abou-Nolla, Chief Imam of Lagos, echoed these sentiments in his sermon, urging Nigerians to embrace peace and faith while calling on leaders to fulfill their duties faithfully.

The president’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, extended Eid greetings, stating the importance of sustaining the Ramadan spirit of selflessness and compassion. She commended women for their sacrifices and encouraged youth to engage positively with the government for national progress.
