A new President of the Christian Association of Nigeria would be announced on July 28, 2022, according to the schedule of activities and timetable for its Year 2022 General Assembly and leadership transition programme, signed by the Special Assistant (Media and Communication) to the outgoing CAN President, Rev. Samson Ayokunle in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to Oladeji, the new President of CAN will emerge on July 28 at the end of the General Assembly Jubilee Resorts, National Christian Centre, Abuja, where his nomination is expected to be ratified and the religious body up till date has not provided any details about the candidate to be chosen.
Oladeji also said that the event will mark the end of the tenure of His Eminence, Rev. Dr. Samson Olasupo A Ayokunle and some Members of the National Executives under his team and will usher in another administration.
