The government of the Republic of Benin has released Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation activist.
Professor Banji Akintoye, the leader of the umbrella group of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, and Professor Wale Adeniran, a French Language Expert/Deputy Alana of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, were the recipients of the activist’s release on Monday.
Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, the Communications Secretary to Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, praised the release of Ighoho as a triumph of truth over darkness in Yoruba Land in a statement.
