A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday has discharged the Chairman of Human and Environmental Development Agenda, Olanrewaju Suraju, over alleged cyberstalking charges brought against him by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami,
The prosecuting counsel, Yewande Cole, told the court that she had been directed by the AGF to withdraw the case to be able to properly review and possibly re-file the case.
Mr Suraju was earlier brought before Justice Nyako on an amended two-count based on allegedly cyberstalking the former Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke.
However counsel for Suraju, Muiz Banire (SAN) have asked the court to acquit his client, saying that was the natural cause of action following such an application for withdrawal.
