Nigerian Professor of Applied geophysics, and Vice Chancellor; University of Ibadan (UI), Prof. Abel Olayinka was recently given an ‘illwill departure’ as he ended his tenure as a Vice Chancellor.
As seen in the video above, men swept the floor while singing valedictory songs as if they were discarding or getting rid of him.
Olayinka became the sixth deputy vice chancellor (academic) of the University of Ibadan from 2010 to 2014, before he contested for vice chancellor and became the 12th Nigerian Vice Chancellor of the UI.
