FirstNigeriaTV’s Olaitan Faranpojo went into a sub-rural community in Lagos State to speak with residents on the rave of the moment- the Corona virus.
Surprisingly, some Nigerians still feel the scourge is nonexistent, a figment of the imagination of a few society elites and literates or a contraption to put palpable fears into the minds of a Nigerian people that are already famished due to poor standard of living.
Some others also accept that the scourge is here in Nigeria for real although some of this group of individuals confess that they have not yet spotted any individual that is already a victim of the newly emerging and dreaded disease.
By and large, the level of awareness on the dreaded scourge has appreciably increased among Nigerians, especially those in the rural communities due to aggressive campaigns mounted by the media of different facets, government bodies, nongovernment organizations, religious bodies and others….
