Co-convener, National Consultative Forum, Prof. Pat Utomi, has expressed displeasure over the character flop in the Edo State Politics and the value system in Nigeria at large.
According to him, his heart bleeds whenever he thinks of Edo and the tragedy of values in Nigeria.
Prof. Utomi, who reiterated that character is everything; stated that, if your word cannot be your bond, you are worse than the dead.
Quoting the Motto of a Government Secondary School in Owerri, the one time Presidential candidate said, ‘work hard, pray hard; when wealth is lost, nothing is lost. When health is lost, something is lost, when character is lost, everything is lost’.
