Nigerian Actor Shawn Faqua and Event Planner Sharon Maduekwe created a record on October 19, 2025 as they became the first couple to have their wedding conducted on a moving train in Nigeria.
They exchanged vows on a decorated coach of a Lagos-Ibadan train as it departed from the Mobolaji Johnson Train Station in Yaba, Lagos.
The train coach was transformed into a wedding venue with floral decorations.
The ceremony began at the Mobolaji Johnson Train Station before the train departed.
