President Bola Tinubu has approved the relocation of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) to the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
Up until now, NACA was situated in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The rationale behind the move is to intensify collaboration and cooperation amongst various health-related organizations with the aim of achieving the 95-95-95 pathway for eradicating the AIDS epidemic.
This decision is in line with President Tinubu’s priority to execute the Renewed Hope Agenda across several sectors in the country and enhance quality and efficiency of service delivery to all Nigerians.
