Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The APC chieftains were in the presidential villa after the release of a statement by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, advising President Buhari not to re-contest the 2019 presidential villa.
Tinubu and Akande, who were absent at last Thursday’s night dinner hosted by President Buhari for APC chieftains across the country.met with the president for about an hour, declined to speak with newsmen
It will be recalled that the national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, led the party chieftains during the dinner.
