The people of Oke-Ako Ekiti in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State have expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for his prompt response to relief them of the havock recked on the community by rainstorm.
In a letter of appreciation to Governor Oyebanji, the Regent, Princess Tinuade stated that the rainstorm destroyed more than 105 buildings and electricity facilities among others. She therefore expressed appreciation to the governor for approving and releasing the sum of 24 million naira for relief materials for the victims to cushion the effects of the damages and put the town back into shape.
Princess Tinuade also stated that Governor Oyebanji is indeed the answer to Ekiti peoples’ prayers.
She noted that the Governor is really a man of his words because has kept his promise that he will not abandon the people in devastating conditions.
While praying for a successful tenure for the Governor, the Regent also pledged the unalloyed support of her people to his administration.
