An official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Wednesday narrowly escaped death after a one-way driver hit him off a bridge in the State.
The LASTMA official was slammed off the bridge by the nonchalant driver who was trying to escape from being arrested while passing one-way and the incident was recorded live on camera.
Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Alhaja Gawat said the officer did not die but sustained an arm injury and in critical condition.
She also added that the incident would be deeply investigated and the officer was receiving treatment at an unmentioned hospital.
