John Mikel Obi admits he is looking to continue his career elsewhere after coming to the end of his stay with Championship club Middlesbrough
Mikel penned a short term contract with Boro in January and despite a number impressive displays failed to help Tony Pulis’ men secure a Championship play-off spot.
The former Chelsea midfielder scored his first goal for the club in Sunday’s 2-1 win against Rotherham United but victory in the game was not enough to seal a play-off spot.
He was handed the captain’s band in Middlesbrough last six league games of the season.
