Lagos Fire and Rescue Service Confirms No Casualties in computer village Inferno


Lagos state Director, Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs. Magaret Adeseye has confirmed that there were no casualties in the fire that gutted Computer Village earlier today.

Affirming that the situation is now under control, Adeseye shared that the one storey building gutted fire from the ground floor used for storage purposes and has been confined.

“The fire has been confined to the ground floor; it emanated from ongoing efforts to access the seat of fire and curtailed it from spreading to the upper floor and nearby structures within the smoke log environment. She said

While Officials say there are no casualties so far, an eyewitness reports the incident that the incident occurred in the early hours, around 9 am on Wednesday

The cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be ascertained, there is no casualty recorded so far, only the costs in damages of multimillion naira goods.
