The village head of Zira in Toro Local Government Area, Yahya Saleh Abubakar, and his son, Habibu Saleh, have regained freedom. This came three days after their abduction by suspected kidnappers.
Bauchi Police spokesman SP Ahmed Wakil confirmed their release to newsmen in Bauchi on Tuesday.
However, details of whether ransom was paid to secure their release or not are being withheld.
