Hon. Mukhtar Isa Hazo has been impeached on Thursday by the 24-member House of Assembly.
The impeachment followed a vote of no confidence on him.
Hon. Isaac Auta, representing Kauru Constituency has now been sworn-in as the Speaker of the House.
Auta was sworn-in on the same Thursday by the Clerk of the Assembly, who administered the oath of office and allegiance on him.
