The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that it intends to register 1.5 million candidates by March 26, the registration deadline.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, said the board has so far registered over 500,000 applicants for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination while speaking in Abuja on Thursday after overseeing the exercise in Bwari and Dutse on the outskirts of the nation’s capital.
The board also intends to register at least 50,000 candidates per day, according to Professor Oloyede.
The examination body declared earlier this year that “UTME/DE registration will begin on February 12th and expire on March 19th, 2022.” A mock examination will be held on April 20th, 2022. The UTME will be held from April 20th to April 30th, 2022.
