Nigerian music star, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has opened up about a heartbreaking experience involving his Canadian ex-girlfriend. The singer, famous for his hit “Who’s Your Guy,” shared the painful story of how a seemingly innocent kiss on the cheek led to the end of their relationship.
Spyro revealed that the breakup was triggered by an incident where he kissed a female friend on the cheek after buying her something she needed. Trying to be honest, he told his girlfriend about it, but her reaction was not what he expected.
He said, “I saw a future with us, already bought a ring and all of a sudden, she ended it. And for what? Because a female friend pecked me after I bought her something she needed. I wanted to be open, so I told her and that led to a series of events that ended the relationship.”
The breakup left Spyro deeply hurt, and he admitted it caused him to harbor negative feelings towards Canada. “Since then, I resented the idea of Canada and everything that surrounds it,” he confessed.
However, the singer claims he has since moved past the heartbreak. He credits his healing to a series of supportive messages from his pastor. “Now I am healed thanks to a series of messages from my pastor,” he shared
