The 11th edition of the Annual Pastor E.A. Adeboye Birthday Public Lecture is set to hold on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with Chief Wole Olanipekun as the guest speaker. A renowned legal luminary and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (2002–2004), Olanipekun is widely respected for his insights on national and global issues.

This year’s lecture, themed “Justice and Equity: Solution to Socio-Economic Problems in Nigeria,” coincides with the 83rd birthday of Pastor E.A. Adeboye. The event will take place at the Youth Centre, Redemption City, Ogun State, starting at 11 a.m.

According to Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, a member of the Lecture Planning Committee, two distinguished Nigerians will serve as discussants: Justice Eni Esan, a retired judge of the Oyo State Judiciary, and Mr. Leye Oyebade, a retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

The Annual Public Lecture, an initiative of the Triumphant Elders Consultative Forum of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was established to mark the birthday of Pastor Adeboye while addressing pressing societal issues.

Over the years, the event has featured prominent speakers, including former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, virologist Prof. Oyewale Tomori, legal expert Pastor Femi Atoyebi (SAN), historian Prof. Akinjide Osuntokun, diplomat Prof. Michael Omolewa, corporate leader Dr. Christopher Kolade, Pastor Agu Irukwu, Bishop Matthew Hassan-Kukah, and Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank.

Last year’s guest speaker, Dr. (Mrs.) Oby Ezekwesili, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “Rebuild, Renew, Restore: The Need of the Nigerian Nation.”

A large turnout of participants from diverse backgrounds is expected at this year’s lecture, continuing the tradition of engaging discussions on national development.
