Fabulous International Magazine presented its annual Achiever’s Awards to outstanding individuals at the 2023 edition’s event in Lagos. Among the honorees were Dr. D.K Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire Ministries, and Honorable James Abiodun Faleke, Member of the Federal House of Representatives.
In his keynote address, guest speaker Prince Ade Adeniran, a Security Consultant, highlighted the growing threat of drug abuse especially among Nigerian youths. He attributed this trend to the increased accessibility of illicit substances as well as peer pressure
Adeniran called for stronger enforcement against drug trafficking, while he also emphasized the important role of parents and guardians in protecting children from exposure. The talk, themed ‘Building a formidable nation by preserving a drug free youthful society, can we get it ?’ also advocated more counseling services and support groups to help address the issue.
The glitzy event also featured a fashion show by Supreme Beauty Services titled “FAB-Fashion On The Runway.” And the unveiling of a new look for Fabulous Magazine publication.
In an interview, Editor-in-Chief, Fabulous Magazine, Ms. Jane Osamor explained that the magazine’s annual awards aim to recognize excellence by honoring outstanding individuals who have positively impacted society over time through their actions. This year’s theme was “Strategic Innovations and Human Capital Development as Tools for Responsible Leadership.”
The event took place at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry headquarters in Ikeja. Other award recipients included a number of notable Nigerians across various fields.
