
The Federal High Court, Abuja, has ordered Ali Ndume to be remanded in Kuje Prison over his refusal to produce Abdulrasheed Maina, Former Chairperson defunct Pension Reformed Task Team (PRTT)’s to appear for his trial.
The Judge, Mr. Okon Abang, in his ruling, ordered Mr. Ndume’s remand pending the time he is able to fulfill the bail bond or produce Mr. Maina in court.
Mr. Ndume however said he agreed to stand as surety for Mr. Maina because the accused is one of his constituents from Borno South.
The Former Pension Chief is charged with 12 counts of money laundering.
