Nigeria on Saturday recorded no COVID-19 related death.
This was confirmed in a tweet by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The agency had said Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with 133 infected persons, while Oyo State followed with 34 new cases.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, May 23, 2020, Nigeria had maintained the same record of 221 coronavirus deaths.
The tweet reads, “265 new cases of #COVID-19;
“133-Lagos, 34-Oyo, 28-Edo, 23-Ogun, 22-FCT, 6-Plateau, 5-Kaduna, 3-Borno, 3-Niger, 2-Kwara, 2-Bauchi, 2-Anambra, 2-Enugu State.
“7526 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
“Discharged: 2174. Deaths: 221.”
