COVID-19: Cases Rise To 42 In Nigeria

Two new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been detected in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this recent figure in a tweet.

The tweet disclosed that the recently confirmed two cases were discovered in Lagos and Ogun States.

Moreover, the health agency explained that one of the cases was a returning traveller while the second case was a contact of a previously confirmed case.

So far, there are 42 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 1 in Oyo state, 3 in Ogun State, 1 Ekiti State, 1 in Edo State, 7 in Abuja (FCT) and 29 in Lagos State.

Of the cases, 39 are active and two have been discharged with one death recorded in the country.
