President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday inaugurated inaugurated a Tripartite Consultative Committee of the Executive, Legislature and Leadership of the APC at the State House.
According to him, amicable resolution of conflicts in the party through regular consultations will create more understanding.
He added that, the committee’s job is principally to smoothen relations between the Executive and Legislature.
Delivering his speech at the inauguration, President Buhari admitted that unnecessary squabbles within the party had caused the All Progressives Congress (APC)) many seats during elections.
The President however, said that the Executive is looking forward to the policies and programmes this newly formed synergy will deliver to the Nigerian people.
In attendance at the inauguration on Monday were Vice President Osinbajo, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, the Deputy Senate-President, Ovie Omo-Agege, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
