The newly elected Local Government Chairman of Bebeji,Ali Namadi in Kano State is confirmed dead.
Ibrahim Adamu Tiga,the Campaign Director confirmed the development on Tuesday morning.
Mr. Tiga acclaimed that at about 12.30 am, on Tuesday morning, the blood pressure of the newly elected Chairman rised and he was rushed to Bebeji General hospital where he gave up less than ten minutes after arrival.
He said, “Alhaji Ali Namadi was hale and hearty on Monday and was receiving guests till 10.30 pm, he was hypertensive.”
He acclaimed that the deceased funeral prayers would be observed by 11.00 am today in Bebeji town.
The late Namadi was elected under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded council elections in Kano on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
