Princess Adedoja, the daughter of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Alaafin of Oyo, made her acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s film Anikulapo.
She posted a photo of herself that she took at the movie on Sunday. She also revealed that she is portraying a princess in the film.
“In my acting debut, Anikulapo (Death and Life, The Rebirth of Identity), a Kunle Afolayan film, I played the princess role.”
Kunle Remi, Faithia Williams, Sola Sobowale, and Bimbo Ademoye were among the cinema stars who participated in the production.
Kunle Afolayan’s film tackles concerns surrounding Africa’s revival of identity by examining various perspectives on the idea.
This news comes just a few weeks after Adedoja graduated from the University of Lagos with honors after completing her master’s degree.
She received a distinction in African and Diaspora Studies and was named the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies’ top graduating student.
