A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, has revealed that the autopsy conducted on the body of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, was unable to determine the cause of his death, according to the pathologist in charge.
Shittu who disclosed this during a coroner’s inquest held in Lagos State, said that the deceased’s body had decomposed by the time the test was conducted, according to the pathologist in charge of the case. This he said, made it impossible to determine the cause of death.
“The cause of death cannot be determined because by the time they conducted the test, the body had decomposed, and it is not possible for them to determine the cause of death.” He said
Shittu reported the pathologist’s statements stating”When you say the cause of death cannot be ascertained, it means it is suspicious; it is not clear. No particular reason.” The pathologist also suggested that Mohbad may have died due to a reaction to certain drugs administered to him before his death, but he could not confirm this as the cause of death.
The coroner’s inquest is ongoing, and further details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. The investigation into Mohbad’s death has been ongoing since September 2023, and the autopsy results are a crucial part of the investigation.
