A Naval officer who works at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja, Musa Lawal, has been kidnapped in Lokoja at his residence at about 8:00pm on Monday by gunmen after his doors and windows.
The Naval officer was scheduled to depart for his station this morning before the unfortunate incident happened.
The wife of the kidnapped naval staff, Juliana Ida Musa, who narrated her ordeal, said the husband was injured while being taken away.
An hour after the kidnap, the kidnappers called his wife, demanding three million naira as ransom.
Speaking on the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Williams Ayah, said the command is yet to be informed but promised to find out from the relevant DPOs.
