NOC DISTRIBUTES PALLIATIVES TO POOR COMMUNITIES IN OGUN.

The Nigerian Open Chatroom(NOC), a whatsapp platform where Nigerians from all walks of life come together to deliberate on issues affecting the country and also to proffer solutions has distributed palliatives to poor communities in Ogun state to ease the effect of the lockdown on these communities due to the COVID19 pandemic.

This distribution which was done in five communities in Abeokuta on the 2nd of May had a large gathering of people who came to receive the palliative.

The communities included Opeloyeru community,
Oladotun community,
Ore Ofe community ,
Eminirekan Community,
Ilupeju mile 2 community and 200 homeless people at Agbo Afoju .

Addressing newsmen, Oludare Atinshola who headed the distribution team thanked all those who contributed to the success of the event and called on rich Nigerians to do poor to help the poor in the society.

He also urged members of these communities to obey government guidelines on Covid 19 and maintain social distancing.

Concluding, Atinshola noted that the distribution will continue other parts of the country. He thanked the group’s members in diaspora who contributed in no small measure to the success of the event.
