At the Conference Room of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources recently, top management staff members of the government establishment, in conjunction with WaterAid Nigeria officials, held a media roundtable that availed the Lagos State Programme Lead, WaterAid, Dr. Adebayo Alao, an opportunity to extensively reel out the intervention activities of the organization in the state, in the past few years.
Major highlights of the event included Alao’s indepth delivery of the pre-recorded successes of WaterAid at Lagos WASH interventions; fielding of attendant journalists’ questions by officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources and WaterAid Nigeria; reiteration by WaterAid officials that the Lagos State Government extends the organization’s exemplary acts to other local councils of the state, apart from the pilot Ikorodu North and Ojodu LCDAs and deliberations towards the betterment of WASH applications for the wellbeing and betterment of lives of the Lagos State citizenry.
