A group led by loyalists of the present Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State had earlier announced the suspension of twelve members of the party including Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Political Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Now another group led by Senator Tony Adeniyi has suspended Governor Fayemi for antiparty activities and failure to organise ward elections.
The group referred to itself as the ‘authentic State Executive Committee of the Ekiti APC’ and declared the Fayemi loyalists group as illegal.
