Member of the House of Representatives, Isa Dogonyaro, representing Garki/Babura federal Constituency of Jigawa State, has sadly passed away.
The news of his death was announced by his colleague, Mohammed Bello El-Rufa’i, on his Facebook page on Friday morning.
El-Rufa’i who paid tribute to Dogonyaro, described him as “a brilliant parliamentarian and a good man.” He wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Earlier today, we lost a colleague in the House of Representatives… May Allah SWT forgive him and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.”
The funeral prayer for the deceased is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Friday afternoon.
Dogonyaro’s passing has been met with an outpouring of tributes and condolences from his colleagues and others who knew him. The House of Representatives and his constituents has since mourned his death
