Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu

Residents of Lagos state especially those living around Egbeda, Igando area, are running for their lives following attacks by some hoodlums popularly known as ‘one million boys’.

FirstNigeriaTV gathered that the hoodlums in large number comprising of hefty young boys and girls have been terrorising the areas unabated.

A resident of the area who pleaded anonymity said their lives are always in danger day and night as they are subjected to fear of the unknown.

“Our lives are in great danger day and night. We can’t even sleep. The worst part is that we don’t know what to do especially at this lockdown period everyone is not allowed to live where he or she is.

“The few security men in our area disappear anytime these people are coming. Except for the resident youths that block them at some point, the situation would have been worse.”

Another resident said, “The terror group always write and threaten us. Once they are approaching, we lock up everywhere, but they attempt to break in.”

Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Police authorities in the area, as at the time this report was filed has proved abortive.
