Tayo Phillips Couture, a Lagos based fashion house showcased its products at a recently held Men’s Fashion Night at FS Club, Igbobi-Yaba, Lagos.
At the fashion event themed ‘Fashion Night’, the CEO, Tayo Phillips Couture, Designer Omotayo Phillips said technology had helped the fashion industry mostly in African nations where people can sell their fabrics, look good and also look on others for imitation.
Saying “if this person can look this good in this product, I can even look better by producing something better than this”.
“This gives room for healthy competitiveness leading to industry development and advancement”, he said.
Several indigenous producers were also on hand at the event to showcase their locally sourced and made fabrics, some of which are already attracting global attention.
